Executive Board & Committee Chairs
The governance of DMA's PTA is a cooperative venture between the Executive Board and the Executive Committee. The Executive Board consists the elected positions of President, Vice Presidents, Treasurer and Secretary. The Executive Committee is made up volunteer PTA members that have taken on a leadership role as a Committee Chair or Co-Chair. The Executive Board is responsible for running the PTA's meetings and the daily operations of the PTA. The Executive Committee organizes and runs, in cooperation with the Executive Board and in adherence with our budget and bylaws, the events that DMA's PTA conducts and oversees.
EXECUTIVE BOARD
President - Jennifer Avery
Presides over board meetings and guides the PTA's daily operation. Executive Vice President - Renee Hafer Assumes the President's duties in his/her absence. Communications Vice President - Kristin Hainsworth Communicates to PTA events, news, and opportunities to donate or volunteer to members via email and SignUp Genius. Supports and updates the PTA website. Treasurer - Lee Sobocinski Keeps financial records Secretary - Susan Cressman Takes and distributes meeting minutes and attendance. |
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CHAIRS
Activities Committee - Erin Marino
Supports several cadet events, including boot camp picnic, dining in, winter dance, senior breakfast, and year-end picnic. Fundraising- OPEN Friday Lunch- Cynthia Mistretta Sells food every Friday at lunch. Hospitality - Hilary Raptis Provides refreshments at several DMA celebratory events. Membership - Danielle Wenzel Conducts the annual PTA membership drive. Military Support - Ashley Hitzig & Chris Clawson Assists DMA with annual Veteran's Day breakfast. The holiday drive at Thanksgiving time and supports local military, veterans, and their families. Staff Appreciation - Stacey Chawkin Provides lunches and appreciation gifts to school staff. |
